The Plowhaus Artists' Cooperative presents:

Bauhaus @ Plowhaus
Artists' Reception Saturday, August 11th, 2007 -- 7 PM to 11 PM
Live Music and Living Refreshments

Show runs through Sunday, September 8th.

Weimar 1919: Inspired by the mood of the era, a small band of visionaries launch a social experiment
known as Bauhaus. Their goal: to remove the perceived barriers separating "Arts" from "Crafts", and
usher in a new age of functional beauty.

Nashville 2001: Moved by the tragedies of 9-11, three visionary artists launch a social experiment
known as Plowhaus. Their goal: to promote hope and co-operation by providing artists a venue through
which they could express themselves and their community.

"Bauhaus @ Plowhaus" pays homage to the inspiration for Nashville's longest-running artists co-op.
Featuring more than twenty artists and a spirit of collaboration, "Bauhaus @ Plowhaus" offers a new
interpretation of an artistic ideal. Come see what magic happens when we work together...
