"It Was A Dark and Rainy Night"

January 28 through February 26, 2006
Opening Reception: Saturday, January 28, 7 - 11 p.m.
We will be opened all day 11am on .... so if you cant make the party come early!
"It was a dark and rainy night; the rain fell in torrents - except at
occasional intervals, when it was checked by a violent gust of wind
which swept up the streets (for it is in Nashville that our scene lies)..."
Don't be left out in the rain! The latest installation in the continuing
Victorian serial novel that is the Plowhaus Artists' Cooperative opens
Saturday, January 28th, with a reception from 7 - 11 p.m. Over twenty
Plowhaus artists share new work in the first Plowhaus show of 2006. "It
Was a Dark and Rainy Night". And, unlike the Victorian novelist who
penned the phrase that gives this show its title, we don't get paid by
the word. So expect to see lots of pointed, pithy art that gets straight
to the heart of the matter. A picture is worth a thousand words, after
all. As is pottery ... or sculpture ... or photography ... well, you get
the idea.
Our featured artists include:
Marlynda Augelli, Loretta Calvert, Samantha Callahan, Jeana Clark, Mercedes Compton, Dale Conway
Michelle Cribbs, John Cunningham, Kevin Cuskaden, Mel Davenport, Kelly Jo Garner, Karol Grace, HARRY
Carri Hofaker, John Holland, Franne Lee, Francois Mahe, Carrie Mills, David Sanders, Julie Sola
Dickie Solpetro, Jim Wheeler, Belinda Yandell and, of course, Miss Havisham!
