SHOW INSTRUCTIONS

1. GALLERY PREP

Typically the Sunday before the show opening.
Bring refreshments, bring a friend, but above all bring yourself and help us prepare for our next show. We will be prepping and painting walls and cleaning the gallery. The artists of the previous show will be here to help.

 
 

2. ARTWORK DROP-OFF

-Typically the Tuesday before a show opening

-Drop off your artwork at the gallery between 6 and 8 p.m.

-Have your work dry and ready to hang

-Label each piece with your name and the piece's titleblock information

-Your show participation fee is due Monday. You may pay at the artwork drop-off. The fee is $35 for members, $45 for non-members. You may pay your membership fee ($25 for 2006 membership) at the time you drop off your artwork.

-Drop off your artist acknowledgement form with your work.

 
 

3. TITLEBLOCK INFORMATION

By the Monday before the show, email your titleblock information to the titleblock coordinator.

Include the following details for each piece you plan to include:

Your name
Title
Medium
Dimensions
Price

 
 

4. GALLERY SHIFTS AND SHOW VOLUNTEER POSITIONS

You must sign up for at least one gallery shift and at least one show volunteer position. If you haven't signed up yet, don't worry. We will track you down.

 
 

5. SHOW INSTALLATION

The show installation will be scheduled for Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday evening. The curators will coordinate the show installation. Please be on the lookout for more details about installation.

6. POSTER / PUBLICITY UPDATE

The poster selected at the planning meeting will be sent to the printers and should be available at the artwork drop-off. We will have a list of locations to hang posters -- sign up to hang up a few!

Customize the press release for the show and send it out to family, friends, and random acquaintances.

 
 

7. WORKING THE GALLERY
